- Viiltosuojaluokka C: Lisäsuojaa teräviä esineitä vastaan (keskisuuren riskin tehtävät, joissa tarvitaan sorminäppäryyttä)
- Viiltosuojaluokat D–F: korkea suojaustaso terävien ja raskaiden esineiden käsittelyyn (toiminta jossa ihon puhkeamisen ja viiltohaavojen riski on suuri)
Viiltosuojaluokka B kestää vähintään 5 Newtonin voimaa
